The London Tattoo

Doe Den Tap Toe!

When: 7:00pm, Saturday July 1st

Where:  ExCeL London

About: Join the London Band Week Honours Bands for a one night only special performance to celebrate marching bands. Under the Musical Direction of Major Ian Davis, Royal Marines, the intimate musical only Tattoo will conclude with a massed bands grand finale and Ceremonial Sunset.

Palace Parade Review

In the King's Garden

When: 12:00pm, Sunday July 2nd

Where: The Great Fountain Garden, Hampton Court Palace

About: William III and Mary II (1689-1702) created the Great Fountain Garden to complement their elegant new baroque palace. Their gardener created a garden containing fountains and planted two radiating avenues of Yew trees in the fashionable form of a goose foot. Just perfect for a regal parade review!

The London Band Week Honours Bands will parade in turn for 10 minutes each through the palace garden.

Drum Line London

The Battle of Flower Pot Gate

When: after the Parade Review, Sunday July 2nd

Where: The East Front Lawn, Hampton Court Palace

About: A fast paced, knockout style contest of percussion performance. Skill and flair will rule the day as the Drum Lines replace the medieval knights who once competed on the same site. To the victorious Drum Line belong the spoils: the King's Shield!

London "stand-still"

The Vols play London!

When: 1:00pm, Friday June 30th

Where: Potters Field Park, London (right next to Tower Bridge, south)

About: The Pride of the Southland marching band will play a static show for approximately 45 minutes.

Under the Direction of Dr. Michael J. Stewart, WJ Julian Endowed Director of the “Pride of the Southland” Marching Band.


Note: This is a FREE performance and all are welcome to attend.
